Unreleased Putty Squad Sega Mega Drive Prototype

Unreleased Putty Squad - Sega Mega Drive PrototypePutty Squad is an unreleased Sega Mega Drive game developed by System 3 and set to be published by Ocean Software in May 1995. The game is a sequel to Putty which was released for the Amiga and SNES in 1992 and 1993, respectively.

Despite still being a work in progress, Putty Squad was basically complete before it was cancelled, with the Mega Drive version even being reviewed by several magazines of the day (and advertised/priced at £44.95 in the UK). Unfortunately, only the SNES version of the game was released. Planned Amiga (of which the Mega Drive version was apparently based on) and DOS ports were also cancelled late in development.
