Unreleased Water World Sega Mega Drive Prototype
Waterworld is an action platforming game developed by Ocean Software for the Sega Mega Drive, Sega 32X and Sega Saturn tht was based upon the 1995 Waterworld film of the same name starring Kevin Costner, Dennis Hopper and many more.
The game was set for release in September 1995, but was cancelled for unknown reasons. Development for the game was completed and the SNES, PC, Game Boy and Virtual Boy versions all went ahead.
Despite never being released, several video games magazines received review copies of the game, with Computer & Video Games magazine even mentioning extra features (such as wind factor) that were still to be added to the game prior to it's planned September release.
